Keyline Desk is an independent editorial desk with one narrow beat: how people sign in to the IQ Option platform, and what to do when signing in does not work. Login screens, password resets, two-factor authentication, new-device confirmations, verification steps and the account-security settings around them — that is the whole subject.

The desk is not IQ Option. We are not affiliated with the platform, we are not operated by it, and we do not speak for it. Nothing published here is an official announcement, and no page on this site can reach or act on your account. When a question needs the platform itself — an account you cannot open, a document still under review, money that has not arrived — the right destination is the platform's own support, not us.

How the guides are written

Every page is a documentation-based walkthrough. The starting point is the platform's own public material — the login and registration pages, the download page, the traderoom and the help centre — read closely and turned into plain steps in the order a reader meets them.

What we do not do is claim more than that. The desk does not run hands-on trading tests, does not open funded accounts to review them, and publishes no measured benchmarks. There is no stopwatch on support replies and no lab behind these pages. What you get is a checklist and an explanation of the mechanics, written by someone who has read the documentation carefully — which is exactly the right tool for an access problem, and the wrong tool for a performance claim.

The same discipline applies to numbers. If a figure is not published by the platform in a form we can point to, it does not appear here as a figure. That is why you will not find a minimum deposit, a payout percentage, a bonus amount, a licence number, a founding year, a user count or a support response time anywhere on this site. Where a number would genuinely help, we write the qualitative version instead: the demo account is funded with virtual money, and the amount shown during funding is the amount that applies. A guessed number in a login guide is worse than no number, because it is the sort of thing a reader acts on.

Country access is handled the same way. Availability depends on where an account is registered and it changes, so we describe the rule and send you to the official site to check your own case rather than publishing a country list that would be wrong by the time you read it.

Dates, and revisiting pages

Sign-in flows change. Buttons move, a confirmation step gets added, an app layout is redrawn. Each page carries the date its details were checked against the official pages, and pages are revisited when the flow they describe changes. Treat the date as part of the content: if the screen in front of you does not match the screen described, trust the screen and tell us.

Who writes it

Editorial responsibility sits with Rowan Halliwell, Sign-In and Account Security Editor. One person writes and edits this site; there is no anonymous content pool behind it. Rowan's background is in consumer fintech writing — help-centre copy, account-security explainers and onboarding documentation — rather than trading, which is deliberate: this desk is about getting into an account safely, not about what to do once you are inside.
